Ovarian Reserve Fertility Tests: Evaluation of Egg Quality and Quantity
Mainly female age is determinant while estimating the probability of conception because of the strong chance of egg quality. These types of tests are often referred to as tests of ovarian reserve. We will test these eggs and remaining in the ovaries. Generally speaking, women are born with their lifetime supply of eggs, and these slowly decrease in both quality and quantity.
“Ovarian Reserve” – reserve ovaries that are meant for storing. This test is done for measuring reproductive potential in women. It gives the number of” Quantity & Quality” of eggs. A woman’s age is an important marker. The ideal way to analyze this is through a blood test on day 2 or day 3 of menses.

- LH [Luteinizing Hormone]
- Estradiol [E2]
- Anti-Mullerian Hormone
- Through ultrasound imaging Antral Follicle Count [AFC]
